Welcome! I’m Jessie.

A little bit about me is that I immigrated to Canada when I was 5, and grew up across a mix of cities. In my own family, I’ve seen the impact of generations of trauma, gender & cultural expectations, and lack of mental health support. It’s not easy trying to navigate everything all at once: your environment, your people, yourself. My hope is to help you write a different future from the history handed to you.

My practice, Ongoing Self Counselling Studio, comes from the belief that healing is not a finish line, but an ongoing practice. My goal is to help you create the change you’re looking for, but not as the end result. Rather, only as another page in your overall life story, where you hopefully understand that story better.

None of us experience the world in the same way. I aim to meet you in yours, with an informed lens that considers all of your intersectional (overlapping) identities, whether that’s race, gender, or anything else central to you. There’s no singular way to pursue mental health. Let’s find out yours.
